At its best architecture is still about foundations and what can be built on them.  I’ve always enjoyed lines and angles and the contrast of dark and light, the strong visual elements of architectural composition.  Still, lighting is critical to illustrating those elements and how they combine to make the building unique in both its style an strength.  Most of my commercial architectural assignments involved big and complicated structures that required a lot of effort to cover well.  Again, no substitute for being there at the right time and shooting from the right perspective.
